The mission of the Tejas Lodge, Order of the Arrow is to fulfill its purpose as an integral part of the East Texas Area Council, Boy Scouts of America through positive youth leadership under the guidance of selected capable adults.
Chapters
The Tejas Lodge is divided into geographically smaller areas called chapters. These chapters follow the same alignment of the East Texas Area Council’s districts and are served professionally by the District Executive. Each chapter has an elected youth chief who oversees the day-to-day operations of the chapter with guidance from a Chapter Adviser, who is appointed annually by the Lodge Adviser. The Chapter Chief, Chapter Adviser, and Chapter Staff Adviser (District Executive) comprise the Chapter Key 3.
